University of Sri Jayewardenepura Christian Fellowship (JCF) (JCF) is a dynamic group of Christian students who are dedicated to spiritual growth and community-building within the university. JCF provides a supportive environment for students to explore their faith, study the Bible, and engage in meaningful discussions. We meet every Tuesday during lunch breaks, making it convenient for students to participate between their academic commitments.
Our weekly meetings include Bible studies, where we delve into scripture, reflect on its relevance to our lives, and seek to apply its teachings in a modern context. These sessions also foster open discussions on social topics, encouraging members to share their perspectives and challenges as Christians navigating university life. Though our fellowship consists of around 40 to 50 members, we usually see an active participation of about 10 individuals, creating an intimate setting for deeper conversations and stronger bonds.
JCF is more than just a Bible study group; it’s a place where students can grow in their faith, find encouragement, and build lasting friendships. Together, we strive to live out our Christian values and positively impact our university community.
