Existing in a world that’s challenging requires a lot of resilience and guidance that would strengthen us. FOCUS is such evangelical support to Christian university students across Sri Lanka, and the Sri Lanka Institute of Information and Technology (SLIIT), Malabe is also associated with it. FOCUS provides a valuable opportunity for the Christian students at SLIIT to gather in Christ once a week. We involve in mindful conversations on the contemporary trends in society, the biblical perspective towards those trends and how Christ can be centered amidst the hardships. We also bring topics of our own to the table and engage in effective discussion. In this way, we encourage each other in their joys and trials, as Christ has taught.
