Easter Attack

On 21 April 2019,Â EasterÂ Sunday, three churches inÂ Sri LankaÂ and three luxury hotels in the commercial capital Colombo were targeted in a series of coordinated terrorist suicide bombings. We lost 2 of our FOCUS students in this attack, K.Umahangary, and P.Prasteen who worshiped in Batticaloa Zion church. Prasteen studied in Agriculture faculty of Jaffna in Kilinochchi and finished his studies in January 2019. Umashangary studied in Eastern University in the arts faculty in 1^st year.

The Graduate Christian Fellowship is the graduate arm of FOCUS which aims to support, encourage, and train graduates in living out the gospel and their faith in their workplaces and communities. The GCF is also dedicated to supporting the student ministry of FOCUS with its resources.
