Sinhala Speaking Student Camp

A camp for the Sinhala speaking students was held on 13th – 15th September at Tulana Research Center, Kelaniya.

The main reason for this camp is to build up FOCUS ministry among Sinhala speaking students. Altogether 20 students have participated in this camp. Kolitha Dissanayake, Prabo Mihindukulasurya and Yohan Abeynaike are the speakers in this camp. They taught about Creation and Fall, Redemption and Consummation, Christian world view and University ministry.

Students participated from Jaffna University, Eastern University, South Eastern University, Pera University, Kelaniya University, J’Pura University, Moratuva University and Ruhunu University. Worship Sessions were led by the students and they had good teaching sessions in this camp.

The Graduate Christian Fellowship is the graduate arm of FOCUS which aims to support, encourage, and train graduates in living out the gospel and their faith in their workplaces and communities. The GCF is also dedicated to supporting the student ministry of FOCUS with its resources.

The Sri Lanka Christian Academics Network (SLCAN) was launched on 15th October 2020. SLCAN hopes to unite all Christian academics in state and non state universities and provide a platform to reflect on and discern God's mission and its implications for Academia
